I recently had the privilege of hearing Matt Mullenweg speak at Wordcamp in Phoenix Arizona a few months ago. I was very impressed with his commitment to constantly tweaking and improving WordPress. I have no doubt that this is a platform that will be around for a very long time. WordPress will change the accessibility of the internet to include everybody. It used to be that there was a huge barrier to entry onto the web by either expertise or money. With WordPress you do not have to know any programming to make changes or add new content to a WordPress website. If you know how to use Microsoft Word you can use WordPress.
